Overview

The VDS8000 Series provides a dedicated oscilloscope platform for diagnosing automotive electrical and electronic systems. The VDS8104 features four channels, 100 MHz bandwidth, and up to 1 GSa/s sampling on a single channel. Its built-in library contains 78 standard automotive waveforms covering sensors such as speed, position, temperature, and pressure sensors. The automotive-specific interface allows technicians to select a sensor type and automatically configure the oscilloscope for rapid waveform acquisition without requiring manual calculations or zero-point calibration. CAN and LIN hardware decoding enables analysis of automotive communication systems, while Edge, Pulse, CAN, and LIN trigger modes provide flexible signal capture. For intermittent faults, the instrument supports waveform recording and playback with up to 1000-frame loop recording. The system supports both Windows and Android through dedicated software and provides USB data transfer, standard commands, and programming examples for secondary development and system integration.
