Overview

The HPC71 Series includes the HPC71A and HPC71B process signal generator models. Both models provide 0.2% basic accuracy and support DC millivolt, DC voltage, DC current, and sink current sourcing and measurement. The HPC71B additionally supports eight thermocouple types including R, S, K, E, J, T, B, and N, with both sourcing and measurement capabilities. The instruments provide a 24V loop power supply for field transmitter debugging and support manual step output as well as automatic waveform output. Thermocouple applications can use either manual or automatic cold-junction compensation. With a compact one-handed design, LCD display, built-in flashlight, and more than four hours of operation from three AAA batteries, the HPC71 Series is suitable for process instrumentation maintenance, field service, transmitter testing, and industrial calibration applications.
