The HPC Series includes the HPC77+, HPC78+, and HPC79+ process multimeter models. The instruments provide measurement functions including DC voltage, AC voltage, DC current, AC current, resistance, frequency, thermocouple, RTD, diode, continuity, and other process-related parameters depending on the model. Signal output capabilities include DC voltage and DC current, while the HPC79+ additionally supports resistance, frequency, thermocouple, and RTD output. The series supports manual stepping, automatic stepping, and automatic ramp current output, with dual display of current in mA and percentage values. A built-in 24V loop power supply allows engineers to power field transmitters while measuring loop current. Additional functions include VFC voltage measurement, true RMS measurement, data hold, relative measurement, cold-junction compensation, backlight, and flashlight. With battery-powered operation and rugged protection on applicable models, the HPC Series is suitable for industrial process calibration, transmitter troubleshooting, loop testing, and maintenance.
